Grape (Vitis vinifera)

According to the PDR for Herbal Medicines, the medicinal parts of Vitis vinifera are the leaves, fruit and juice. Their hepatoprotective effects have been shown to significantly attenuate acetaminophen induced hepatic DNA damage, apoptosis and necrotic cell death of liver cells (see PDR for Herbal Medicines, 2nd ed., pp.362-3).
